The English Institute of Sport Sheffield (EISS) is a world-class, multi-sport venue home to Olympic champions Jessica Ennis-Hill and Nicola Adams, university students and community sports programmes.

Facilities include a six lane, indoor, 200m, oval banked athletics arena and 130m straight, £1million, three-floor gym complete with spin studio, fitness studios and a spa, table tennis hall, multi-purpose sports hall, three-court sports hall and badminton hall.
 
Bringing together elite athletes and the local community, EISS offers a unique sporting environment where the general public can enjoy sporting and fitness activities alongside professional sports people, Olympic athletes, World Champions and sporting stars of the future.

More than 300,000 people take part in sport and physical activity at EISS every year and the venue hosts 200 school sports days annually.
 
EISS acts as a campus for more than 500 Sheffield Hallam University students, providing a home for Undergraduate Academic Learning and Team Hallam sport programmes.
 
It is home to the GB Boxing men and women’s squads, the British Table Tennis Association for Disabled and England Basketball. It is a training venue for some of the GB Wheelchair basketball team and Paralympic Boccia team.
