The internationally renowned English Institute of Sport Sheffield (EISS) and iceSheffield are already part of the development and work is underway on a multi-purpose 3,000 seat indoor community arena and a 3G artificial pitch.

EISS is the country's largest multi-sports training centre, boasting a state-of-the-art gymnasium and an indoor athletics arena which includes a 200m oval track, 140m sprint straight, throws area, long jump and high jump.

iceSheffield houses two Olympic sized dual-pad ice rinks and offers a variety of ice skating tuition packages, as well as ice hockey and general ice skating facilities.

For those who prefer to enjoy the great outdoors, the Olympic Legacy Park will provide space to exercise in the green open space of Don Valley Bowl and walking and cycle tracks throughout the site.
