Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park will boast outstanding facilities for the community and businesses.

  • The Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC): A state-of-the-art building with indoor and outdoor facilities to enable businesses of any size to invest in collaborative research and take products from concept to market.
  • UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park: opened in September 2016, the UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park will have capacity for 600 students aged 14-19 and specialise in Sport Science, Health Sciences and Computing. 
  • Oasis Academy Don Valley: an all-through inclusive Academy for children aged 2-16, which opened in September 2015. The Academy will grow year on year until it reaches full capacity in 2021. 
  • The English Institute of Sport Sheffield (EISS): A world-class, multi-sport venue home to Olympic champions Jessica Ennis-Hill and Nicola Adams, university students and community sports programmes.
  • iceSheffield: – An Olympic-standard twin-pad ice sports arena used by Winter Olympians and the local community for figure and speed skating, ice hockey and sledge hockey.
  • Altitude - An action-packed high-ropes adventure course with more than 30 challenging obstacles including rope bridges, swinging logs, a climbing wall and an exhilarating 30ft leap of faith.
  • 3G rugby pitch, stand and hotel: A third generation (3G) artificial pitch for players from the professional rugby club Sheffield Eagles and the local community to use, as well as a 2,500 seat stand and a hotel.
  • Park Community Arena: A 3,000 seat indoor community arena for a variety of uses, and home to the 60-strong Sheffield Sharks semi-professional basketball squad.
  • Don Valley Bowl: A green space for a variety of health and wellbeing activities.
