The flagship £10million building is a school for 14 to 19 year olds specialising in Health Sciences (Health and Sports Science) and Computing.

Students can start in Y10 or Y12 to study a combination of GCSEs and A Levels and a technical specialism (OCR Cambridge Technicals and Nationals).
The UTC is located on the Olympic Legacy Park, which is set to be part of an internationally recognised Innovation District for health and wellbeing research and learning.
Its state-of-the-art building is equipped with high-quality, industry-standard facilities, including a 3D motion capture facility, a health and development suite including a flexible ward set up, a child development area and a facility for an operational ambulance, a user experience (UX) lab, a fitness suite and much more.
It provides a unique experience for students to study adjacent to elite athletes and professional sports people.
When full, the UTC will have capacity for 600 students; class sizes are smaller than average, allowing staff to spend more time with the students.
The specialisms of Health Sciences and Computing have been chosen specifically to address key skills shortages, not just in the UK but globally, and will give students an excellent route into employment or higher education.
